Anthony (Tony) John Bele, Jr.

Anthony John Bele, Jr., age 63, of Beaver Creek Road, Lexington, passed away into the arms of his loving Savior Tuesday (Jan. 3, 2012) at his home. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 6:00 pm Friday (Jan. 6, 2012) in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Charlie Patrick officiating. Visitation at Davidson Funeral Home following the service. Tony was born on September 18, 1948, in Harrisburg, PA to Anthony John Bele and Evelyn Cassidy Bele. Tony was educated in parochial schools including St. Peter’s Elementary in Steelton, PA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University in 1970 and his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University in 1977. He relocated to North Carolina in 1979 where he finished and excellent career in operations and engineering management. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Bele. Tony is survived by his precious wife, Lois Hill Bele of the home; two sons, Christopher Bele of Jamestown, NC and Anthony J. Bele, III of Cary, NC; his parents, John and Evelyn Bele of Edgewater, Florida; his brother, William (Bill) Bele of Harrison City, PA; two step-daughters, Tammy Stickney and husband Jay of Charlotte, NC; Karen Whitley and husband Mark of Concord, NC; step-son, Christopher Petrea of Lexington; four step-grandchildren, Mason and Riley Stickney; Cameron and Emersyn Whitley.
