Anthony Dean Wray

Anthony Dean Wray, age 39 of Lexington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 6, 2021 in Lexington.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the family home located at 209 Druid Hill Drive in Lexington.

Anthony was born on June 14, 1982 in Mecklenburg County to Rebecca Wood Gerlach.  He previously worked at Unifi as a machine operator.  Anthony enjoyed playing the guitar and riding motorcycles.  Family meant everything to him and his son, Ashton, was the love of his life.  He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael “Mike” Allen Gerlach.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rebecca Gerlach, of the home; his son, Ashton Wray of Linwood; grandmother, Lillie Boyet of Clemmons; stepbrother, Matthew Lee Robinson of Thomasville and ex-wife, Bethany Russell of New Bern.
