Ardella Parsons Everhart

Ardella P. Everhart 85 of Brookstone Nursing Home formerly of Oak Ave., Lexington went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Hinkle Hospice House after several years of declining health. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Thursday, just prior to the service and other times at 1008 Fairview Dr., Lexington Mrs. Everhart was born April 11, 1925 in Ashe County to Lloyd Virgil Parsons and Dora Eller Parsons Parsons. She was a homemaker and a member of Light House Baptist Church. Ardella was the last original member of Light House Baptist Church which was founded in 1975, and was a volunteer with Prison Ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Garland Everhart, November 30, 1976 and also five brothers and two sisters. Surviving are a Foster son, Ricky H. Parsons of Taylorsville, NC; a very special daughter, Brenda Noah of Lexington; three granddaughters; special friend, Jim Long of Lexington and many other friends and cousins.
