Arizona Tyree

Arizona Tyree, 79, of Bristol Street, died Friday, September 13 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Landmark Pentecostal Church, 208 Landmark Place, Lexington, NC 27292.

Ms.  Tyree was born February 3, 1940 in Whitesboro, KY to Willis Tyree and Edith Cornett Tyree.  She was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church.  Her son, Darrell Roberts, her sister, Leonia Lynch, and her longtime friend, Jay Huffman, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Roberts of Virgina, Donnie Roberts and Lonnie Roberts (Ernestine) both of Kentucky; her daughter-in-law, Angela Roberts of Kentucky; her brothers, Burtis Tyree of Kentucky, and Verlin Tyree of Ohio; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
