Arlene Barrier Allred

Arlene Barrier Allred, age 75 of Echoview Circle, Lexington passed away Monday morning (3-30-2009) at Lexington Memorial Hospital.  Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday (4-1-2009) at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Lewis Johns and Rev David Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.   Arlene was born March 9, 1934 to Norman Ferdnand Barrier and Elsie Young Barrier.  She was the former owner and operator of CBC Wholesale Printing and a retired employee of Green Printing.  She was a member and past deacon of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church,   and a member of The Pilot Club of Lexington.   Surviving are: two sons, Mike Allred and wife Carolyn, Rick Allred and wife Stephanie all of Lexington; two daughters, Debbie Newsom and husband Larry of Lexington, Cathy Fleming and husband Dixon of Salisbury; nine grandchildren, Nick Newsom and wife Liz, Jenny Newsom Brooks and husband Jason, Mindy Warfford, Adam Warfford, Logan Allred, Kendal Allred, Jordan Allred, Matthew Allred and Evan Allred.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday and at other times at the home of Rick and Stephanie Allred, 269 Amber Lane, Lexington.   Memorials should be directed to Alzheimer’s Association and Related Disorders, Western NC Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC  28215       Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
