Arnold "Joe" Elmore Barker

Arnold “Joe” Elmore Barker 73 of Tall Pines Road passed away at his home on Saturday, May 6, 2017.     There will be no formal visitation or service.   Mr. Barker was March 3, 1944 in Rutherford County North Carolina to Alford Elmore Barker and Georgia Short Barker Roach. He was employed with Dave Whiteheart as a Body Mechanic before his retirement and was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Barker.   Surviving is his wife, Peggy Cook Key Barker of the home; one step-daughter, Angela Forrest; two brothers, Larry Roach of North Wilkesboro and Eddie Roach of Lexington; two sisters, Kay Love and husband Wayne of Winston Salem and Debbie Powell of Georgia; one grandchild, Kayla Hopkins.           Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
