: Rev. Arnold Roy Laws, Sr., 74, of Short St., Lexington died December 1, 2013 at his home. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at the Church of God of Prophecy 715 Blair Street, Thomasville NC with Rev. William Holt officiating. Rev. Laws was born October 6, 1939 in Bell County, Kentucky to Custer Laws and Nettie Holt Laws. He was a member of Church of God Prophecy He was a retired Church of God of Prophecy Pastor in NC and Ky and also retired from Grede Iron Foundry. Preceding him in death was his parents, five brothers, Zeb, Charlie, George, Albert and Roscoe Laws. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Sprinkles Laws of the home; seven sons, Arnold Roy Laws, Jr. (Carolyn) of Thomasville, Kenneth Laws (Vicki), Joseph Laws (Penny), Ricky Laws (Beth), Mark Laws (Michelle) all of Lexington, Randy Laws, Alex Laws (Leigha) both of Asheboro.; two daughters, Annetta Hollingsworth (Rickey) of Pineville Ky and Renee Woempner (Ken) ofThomasville; 17 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a brother, Custer Laws (Loretta) of Pineville, KY; three sisters, Flora Nunnary of Cleveland, TN, Gladys Kincaid of Hamlet and Barbara Kinley of Archdale.
