Arthur Lee Bostick

Arthur Lee Bostick, 79 of Jones Road in Mocksville NC, passed away Tuesday May 6, 2025 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday May 10, 2025 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor David Hedrick officiating services.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Bostick was born July 23, 1945 in Fayette County West Virginia to Robert Lee Bosick and Edith Jeffers. Arthur loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an auctioneer for 50 years, having called the bid for the last time Saturday. He was a hard worker and lived to make sure we all followed in those footsteps. He enjoyed his tractors, farm animals and working in his shop.   One of his favorite things he enjoyed was being an auctioneer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a beloved son, Mark Bostick; three brothers,  Andy, Bill ,and Junior, five sisters, Jenny, Emma, Becky, Fonda and Frances.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Sowers Bostick, of 63 years ; his son Richard Bostick (Valerie); his grandchildren, Dustin (Amber) Bostick, Charity (Brandon) Green; great-grandchildren, Levi, Katie Mae, Bailey and Caroline; sisters, Mary Baldwin, Grace Shelton (Hugh); a sister-in-law, Liz Bostick and many nieces and nephews.
