Arthur Eugene Enlow Sr., 79, of Estates Drive, died Sunday, October 28, 2007, at Hospice of the Piedmont, after an illness of over a year.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by Preacher Clyde Akers.
Mr. Enlow was born October 3, 1928, in Greenville, MS., to Hiram Arthur Enlow and Ally Mae Johnson Enlow. He was retired from Parkdale Mills and served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Enlow was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Hejaz Shrine.
Surviving are sons, John Enlow and wife, Peggy, of Atlanta, Ga., Gene Enlow Jr. and wife, Becky, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Mike Enlow and wife, Jenny, of Greenville, S.C.; daughters, Cheryl Beckwith of Lexington, Susan Smith and husband, Jim, of Anderson, S.C., and Mary Lynn Dameron of Easley, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Enlow and wife, Norma, of Mt. Olive, Carl Enlow of Missouri, Marvin Enlow of Georgia, and Horace Enlow of Texas; and sisters, Christine Kern and husband, Dave, of Virginia, and Juanita Gray and husband, Jim, of Outer Banks, N.C.
There will be no visitation.
