Arthur Douglas Hepler

Arthur Douglas Hepler, 77, of Easter Road, died Monday, September 7 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park, by the Rev. Tommy Hepler.

There will be no public visitation.

Mr. Hepler was born January 6, 1943 in Davidson County to Arthur Lindsay Hepler and Laura Everhart Hepler.  He retired from RJ. Reynolds Tobacco Co., and was of the Baptist faith.  His brother, Bobby Richard Hepler, and his sister, Judith Younts, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie Binkley Hepler of the home; her son, John Hepler (Melanie) of Clemmons; his daughter, Laura Hankins (Keith) of Lexington; his sister, Laura Marie Sink (Mock) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Felicia Wilkins and Cameron Hepler; and his great granddaughter, Paisley Merritt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made Cancer Services of Davidson County, 25 W. Sixth Avenue, Lexington NC 27292.
