Arthur Evan “Buddy” Hill, Jr. 70 of Ridge Road passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Midway United Methodist Church with the Rev. John C. Woods, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hill was born in Forsyth County, August 10, 1938 to Arthur Evan Hill, Sr. and Kate Wells Hill. He was a retired Supervisor with RJR. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church, a member of the Wilshire Golf Club and a former volunteer of Midway Fire Dept. Mr. Hill also served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Evan Hill, III, and two brothers Bobby Hill and Walter Hill. Two sisters, Wanda Charles and Peggy Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife Dorothy Hine Hill of the home. Two sons, Tim Hill and his wife Donna and Dwayne Hill and his wife Melissa all of Midway. A brother Larry Hill and his wife Betty of Lexington. Four grandchildren, Nicole Camper and husband Justin of Fort Binning, GA, Amanda Hill, Andy Mills and Sam Mills all of Midway. Extended family, Steve Tucker and wife Rita, Josh and Joseph Tucker all of Clemmons. . Visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 and or to Hospice of Davidson County, P. O.
