Arthur "Ray" Norris

Arthur “Ray” Norris, age 67, of Linwood went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 20, 2018.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington on Sunday, September 23, 2018 with Pastor JC Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.   Mr. Norris was born in Horry County, SC to Leon Norris and Mary Livingston Norris on September 4, 1951. He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Sylvia Jean Torrence Norris; and a brother, Gary Norris.   Surviving his mother, Mary Livingston Norris of Lexington;  his son, Terry Dewayne Norris of Lexington; his two loving daughters, Michelle Lanier (Kenneth) of Lexington and Etta Marie Norris Baker of Charleston, SC; three brothers, Elbert Norris (Barbara), Terry Norris (Tanya), and Michael Norris (Julie) all of Lexington; five sisters, Letha James of Tabor City, Ila Boswell of Tabor City, Geraldine Adams of Lexington, Pamela Morris of Charleston, SC and Vanessa Joye (Chuck) of Wilmington; nine grandchildren, Kallie, Logan, Lanie, Addison, TT, Taylor, Dustin, Victoria, and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren, Haylie and Aiden.
