Arthur Milton Weisner, 84, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Mountain Valley Hospice House.
An informal memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, with Pastor Janet Dixon officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church’s Family Life Center.
Milton was born on September 4, 1938, in Florence, AL, to the late John David Weisner and Rachel Goodin Weisner. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and later worked as a photo engraver. Milton was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and missed being able to attend, but loved and served the Lord every day.
He was known to be an avid fisherman and had a love for hunting, but his greatest joy was his family. Milton was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved that his great-grandson, McCoy, was born on his birthday. He also enjoyed spoiling his great grand-dog, Fender, and truly missed his canine companion of sixteen years, Eliza.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Everhart.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ruby “Teenie” Weisner, of the home; daughter, Crystal Tedder and husband David, of Lexington; grand-daughter, Lindsay Tedder Winchel and husband Matthew, of Lexington; great grandson, McCoy; and brother-in-law, Reid Everhart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or The Davidson County Humane Society.
