Arturo Montoya Alonso

Arturo Montoya Alonso, 27, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

A funeral mass will be held at 9:30am on Monday, August 30th at Our Lady of the Rosary in Lexington with Father Sebastian officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.

The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th at the home of his parents.

Arturo was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on December 19, 1993 to Antonio Castenada Alonso, Sr. and Gloria Montoya Alonso. He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle whose memory will be cherished forevermore. He was preceded in death by his twin siblings, Adolfo and Arlene Alonso.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Antonio and Gloria; his children, Ayden Aaron Alonso and Bella Dolores Alonso; his brothers and sister, Angel Alonso (Fabiola), Daisy Alonso, Antonio Alonso, Jr. (Rosa), and Alonso Alonso; his nephews, Adrian and Ashton; and his nieces, Valerie and Liliana.

Flowers will be accepted at the home for the visitation and can be delivered to the funeral home for the service.
