Aubry Eugene Brewer

Aubrey Eugene Brewer,  of  Roanoke Virginia, died Wednesday December 27, 2017 at the Virginia Veteran Care Center in Roanoke.   A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday December 30, 2017 at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating services.   Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Military graveside rites.   The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday at the church.   Mr. Brewer was born Noveber 5, 1922 in Davidson County to  Coleman Arville Brewer and Essie Mae Hedrick Brewer.   He was  a United States Army  WWII Veteran and was retired from Harris Teeter. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents;his  wife Mary Helon Junkins Brewer; two brothers, Bryce Brewer and Ray Brewer; two sisters, Reba Byrd and Mildred Koontz.   Surviving is a son David Brewer and his wife Valeria of Roanoke Virginia; a brother, Donald Brewer and wife Shelby of South Carolina, as well as 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.    Memorials may be made to Sheets Memorial Baptist Church Missions Fund, 210 Cotton Gove Road, Lexington NC 27292.
