Audie K. Calhoun

Audie Calhoun, age 50 of Boaze Road, Lexington passed away Monday evening (7-20-2009) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday (7-24-2009) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lee Zehmer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Audie was born in Davidson County, February 28, 1959 to Stephen Max Calhoun and Grecia Dare Atwood Calhoun. He was a former Butcher with Conrad and Hinkle and a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Dawn Davis Calhoun on December 7, 2004. Surviving are: two daughters; Sophie and Sunny Calhoun of the home; two sisters, Wendy Baxley and husband Quentin and Megan Wrenn and husband Kenan all of Lexington; one niece, Sarah Wrenn; one nephew, Trey Baxley. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Thursday Night from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and at other times at the home of his sister Megan Wrenn, 543 Boaze Road, Lexington.
