Audrey Adams

Audrey Snider Adams, 94 of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice.

Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Tyro Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Foster officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Ruby and Clyde Snider Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm prior to the service.

Audrey was born on January 16, 1932, in Davidson County, NC to Clyde Roosevelt Snider and Ruby Snider. She was a member of Tyro Methodist Church. Audrey retired as office manager from Peeler Dental in Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Mahlon Adams in 2021; son Richard Mahlon Adams; daughters Betsy Kaye Adams and Sally Gaye Adams; brothers Clyde R. Snider Jr. and U.S. Snider; sister Sarah Troublefield; sisters-in-law Jeanette Snider and Joyce Snider.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Ruby King (Barry) and Debbie Mitchell (Bill); sons, Gordon Adams (Sara) and James Adams; brother Robert Lewis Snider (Alice); brother-in-law Braxton Troublefield; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
