Audrey Lanning Michael

Audrey Lanning Michael, age 81 of Old Greensboro Road, Thomasville passed away Saturday at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem.   Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington with Revs. Jim Groome and Mike Hilliard officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 3:00 until 4:00 pm, prior to the service.   Audrey was born in Davidson County, April 27, 1932 to Odis Cicero and Sallie Marie Mowery Lanning. She was a homemaker; member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and served in other areas in the church. She was preceded in death by her parents.   She is survived by her husband; Vincent “Mike” Michael of the home; daughters, Julie Lannin Rowland (Robert) of Lexington; Alayne Patrice Lewis of Winter Garden, Florida; sons, Steve Michael of Florida; Toni Richard Michael (Fonda) of Lexington; Dean Gregory Michael (Mary) of Trinity; grandchildren; Amanda, Jamie, Justin, Josh and Zach and 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lila White of Thomasville.   In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 902 South Main Street, Lexington, NC  27292.   Online Condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
