Aundry Byerly

Aundry Janet Walser Byerly, 76, of Linwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Greer’s Chapel with the Revs. Cindy L. Ramirez and Chris Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Byerly was born in Davidson County on July 4, 1946, to Gilmer Walser and Viola Merritt Walser. She was a retired seamstress and supervisor, a member of Greer’s Chapel, and a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marshall and Darrell Walser; and a sister, Yvonne Walser.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Greer Clark Byerly; her daughters, Sherry Byerly Swing (Mark), and Cheryl “Jody” Byerly Brown (Kylle); a brother, Larry Walser (Lois); a sister, Ronda Bowers; four grandchildren, Taylor Brown Thomas (Chase), Zeke Brown, Ryne Swing, and Chessa Swing Beasley (John); and her three precious great-grandchildren, Ailith Beasley, Rowan Beasley, and Evelyn Thomas.
