Austin Michael Hoke

Austin Michael Hoke, age 23, of Linwood passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 due to a tragic accident.   A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Pastors Clyde Akers and David White officiating.   The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm on Saturday prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.   Austin was born on July 23, 1993 in Davidson County to Christine Kay Michael and Clarence Albert Hoke. He was a welder with Alcar, and enjoyed the outdoors and his diesel truck. Austin had a host of friends, loved the Yadkin River and was very protective over his little brother. He went to be with his great grandfather J.D. Michael.   In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Alex Hoke of Lexington; his uncle, Shane Michael of Lexington; and his grandparents, Charlene Laws of Linwood, Kermit Michael of Lexington, and Clarence Hoke Sr. and Maxine Hoke of Lexington.
