Arthur Wayne Shew, 73, of Old Salisbury Rd., Lexington died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at his home The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, July 27, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home. There will not be a service. Mr. Shew was born April 4, 1942 in Yadkin County to Joseph Edgar Shew and Ethel Laura Reese Shew. He was a retired employee of Shew’s Home Improvement. Preceding him in death was his parents, and two sisters, Judy Jones and Ethel Stockley. Surviving are his brother, Joseph Shew, Jr. of Lexington; two nephews, Gary Leonard, Joe Leonard; a niece, Cindy Raymer; and a friend and companion, Mary Smith of Wilmington.
