Azile B. Mock
Azile Burns Mock, 88, of Highway 150 South, died this morning, Feb. 10, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Reeds United Methodist Church by the Rev. Gary Foster. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Mock was born in Chatham County on Jan. 10, 1918, to Fred William Burns and Eliza Moses Burns. She was a graduate of Appalachian State Teachers College and a former school teacher at Reeds Elementary School. She was also a member of Reeds Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Zimmerman Mock Sr., on Feb. 22, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, Harry Zimmerman Mock Jr. and Dr. Freddie Lowe Mock and his wife, Vicky, all of Lexington; one grandson, Jacob Boyd Mock of Lexington; and one sister, Olivia Dark of Siler City.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
