Barbara Ann Butterworth Baker

Ms. Barbara Ann Butterworth Baker, 82, of Old Greensboro Road, died Friday, August 7, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice House.

She was born on January 23, 1944, in Cumberland County, NJ, to the late William and Fannie A. Davis Butterworth.

Ms. Baker had a love for horses, owls, and enjoyed watching T.V., especially “Little Women”. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Ms. Baker will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Wilma, Fannie, Lillian, and Beaufort.

Survivors include her children, Ricky Butterworth, Rodney Butterworth, Bunny Baker, Charles Baker, and Robert Baker (Millicent); her grandchildren, Jasmine Greenwood, TaJia, Isaiah, Cary, Justina, and Mike; great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Peyton Greenwood, Chase, Zachary, and Bella Ozelski; and many other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date near her home in New Jersey.
