Barbara Ann Sneed Barnhill

Barbara Ann Sneed Barnhill, 68, of Tussey Road, died Monday night February 28, 2011, at the Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Rolling Heights Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Wayne Sechrest officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of the daughter, 314 Russell Street, Lexington. Mrs. Barnhill was born February 12, 1943, in Surry County, to Wesley Ford Sneed and Anna Lee Luffman Sneed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert McDonald Barnhill, who died in 2007, and was retired from Parkdale Mills Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Cobb and husband, Richard, of Lexington; four sons, Billy Dorsett, Bobby Dorsett, Jeffery Dorsett and Robert Dorsett and wife, Janie, all of Lexington; eight grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; one brother, John Sneed of Thomasville; and a sister, Carolyn Summey of Thomasville.
