Barbara Ann Blackburn

Barbara Ann Pike Blackburn, 58, of Lexington passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.   Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Scott Slaughter officiating.  Burial will follow at Psalm 91 Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 29 at Davidson Funeral Home.   Barbara was born in Forsyth County on April 23, 1959 to Bud Burke Pike and Helen Louise Collins Pike.  She worked as a caregiver for ARC of Davidson County and was a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Willard, and a sister, Frances Hinze.   Surviving are her sons; Shawn Steven Johnson (Chrissy) of Lexington; Frisco William Blackburn (Erin) of Arizona; daughter, Rose Blackburn (DeLorea) of Arizona; brothers, Dalton Willard of Clayton, NC; Donald Willard of Lexington; sisters, Helen Hensley of Lexington; Glenda Hunt of Lexington; Debbie Joyner of King; Annabell Willard of Laurinburg, NC; and four grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson and Violet R.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Davidson County Animal Shelter, 490 Glendale Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
