Barbara Marie Burleson

Barbara Marie Craver Burleson, 69, of Young Drive, died Friday, December 04, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at Christian Cathedral in Thomasville, where she was a member, with Pastor Adam Dillon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 6 to 7 p.m. Mrs. Burleson was born May 9, 1946, in Davidson County, to Fred Odell Craver and Anna Mary Essick Craver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Allen Craver. Surviving are son, Shawn Whitman and wife Kristy of Lexington; daughter, Stephanie Holden of Lexington; six grandchildren, Jordan Holden, Caison Whitman, Isa Wall, Unique Wall, Raina Whitman, Honesty Bulluck; and sisters, Debbie Grove and husband Larry and Sharon Tuttle, all of Lexington.
