Barbara Gale Fincher

Barbara Gale Hollingsworth Fincher passed away from a very long illness and went to be with her Lord and her loved ones on Saturday September 25, 2021. Gale was born February 5, 1955 to the late J.R. Hollingsworth and the late Virginia Morrison Hollingsworth. Gale graduated from Lexington Beauty College in 1979. She owned and operated the Hair Exchange on Old 52 in Lexington and was a hairdresser for thirty years. Gale loved to read, paint, crochet, and do various crafts in her spare time and shared many of the things she made with relatives and friends. She was the proud mother of the late Phillip Boone and the late Kenny Boone. She leaves behind beloved granddaughters Kimberly Gale Boone and Kaylee Brielle Hill, a brother, Brown Hollingsworth of Lexington and a sister, Betty Marlowe of Lexington and other loved family members; her friends and beloved pets, and her special friend and heart sister, Carolyn Hill of Lexington, whom Gale loved very much. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society 1120 Piedmont Drive, Lexington N.C. 27295.

A graveside service will held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Lexington City Cemetery with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating services.

Ms. Fincher will lie in state from 11:00 pm to 1:00 pm Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.
