Barbara Jane Bradley

Barbara Jane Bradley, 66, of Siouan Drive, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Providence United Methodist Church, Providence Road, Charlotte, where she was a member, by the Rev. Bill Jeffries. Ms. Bradley was born May 11, 1940, in McDowell County to McCoy Bradley Sr. and Carrie Mace Bradley. She was a supervisor with Travelers Insurance for 36 years. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by a brother, McCoy Bradley Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Lexington; a nephew, Darren Shea Bradley of Lexington; a niece, Amanda Jane Swain and her husband, Chad, of Welcome; two great-nieces, Ashley Brook Swain and Logan Taylor Swain; and many friends in the Charlotte area. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at First Methodist Church in Marion and after the memorial service in Charlotte at the church atrium.
