Barbara Ann Thomason Little

Barbara Ann Thomason Little, 66, of Giles Road, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at her home following a six month illness. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Light House Baptist Church, Welcome, where she was a member, by the Revs. Avery Varnadore and Dan Walser. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Little was born February 9, 1942, in Davidson County, to John Webster Thomason and Lula Leonard Thomason. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Doyle Thomason. In addition to her husband of 46 years, Weldon Little, whom she loved very much, she is survived by sons, Mark Little of Sanford, Chad Little and wife, Tiffany, of Southmont; grandchildren, Andrew Little of Sanford and Maisa Little of Southmont; brothers, Ted Wayne Thomason, Steve Thomason and Larry Thomason and wife, Diane, all of Lexington; and a sister, Lynn Bost and husband, Danny, of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church prior to the service and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Light House Baptist Church, P.O.
