Barbara Hill Nifong

Barbara Ellen Hill (Bobbie) Nifong age 77 of Lexington went home to be with the Lord   Saturday February 9, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday February 12, 2019  at Midway United Methodist Church where she was a lifelong member conducted by Revs. Chuck Ireson and David Hedrick and  burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Monday at  the CFC Center at the church and at other times at the homeplace.

Barbara was born February 26, 1941 in Davidson County to Ray Hill and Faith Hine Hill. Her parents and husband Lamarr Nifong preceded her in death. She was a retired farmer and Co Owner of Nifong Sausage. At her church she was a member of The United Methodist Women, past president of her Sunday school class and served her church in many other capacities.

Surviving are her children, David Nifong (Sheri) of Lexington, JoAnn Snyder (Craig) of Midway and Johnny Nifong (Robin) of Thomasville. Her grandchildren, Emily, Austin, Connor, Jacob and Seth Nifong. Also surviving are a brother, Michael Hill (Glenna) of Clemmons and Nancy Gibbons (Bill ) of Woodleaf.
