Barbara Ellen Pennell

Barbara Ellen Curtiss Pennell, age 60, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at her home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Barbara was born March 12, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley George Huttner and Norma Jean Stein. She was a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church. For 20 years, she worked at Lucha Clothing and later as a receptionist for Dr. Ferrington of Salisbury. Mrs. Pennell was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald Pennell.

Surviving is a daughter, Malisa Spry (Patrick) of Lexington; a brother, Greg Curtiss (Janice) of Lexington; two sisters, Teri Clawson (Mike) of Lexington and Cathy Adams of Chicago; two grandchildren, Tyler Snyder and Caden Snyder both of Lexington; two nephews, Michael Clawson and Jerry Curtiss both of Lexington; a niece, Cassie Rowles of Georgia; nephews, Charles Adams (Angie), David Adams (Michelle), Elijah Adams, all of Chicago; a great nephew, Levi Clawson of Lexington; and an aunt, Norma Lee Mounts of Lexington. Also surviving is her loving canine, Pipper.
