Barney Everhart

Barney Dalton Everhart, age 60, of Ridge Road passed away Thursday evening (3-8-2012) at his residence after an extended illness. There will be a memorial service held at 2:00pm Sunday March 11th, 2012 conducted by Rev. David Hedrick at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Saturday March 10th, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the residence on Ridge Road. Barney was born March 16, 1951 in Davidson County, to Mary Ruth Everhart. He was a former driver for Comer Trucking, was an avid fisherman and loved farming and driving his tractor. He was preceded in death by his mother. Surviving is: his wife, Hilda Benoy Everhart of the home; daughter, Tina Marble and husband Greg of Lexington; step-father, Floyd Morrison of Lexington; aunt, Betty Rose and husband Artis Cecil; special friend, Tim Patterson and his loveable dog Henri. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
