Barry Lynn Hartman Sr., 63, of Stokes Ferry Road in Salisbury, left his earthly home to join his Lord and family in heaven on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Mike Owens officiating services. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. Hartman was born June 12, 1960 to Charles Edward Hartman Sr. and Phyllis Evelyn Schock Brown. He was owner operator of All American Disposal and enjoyed his garbage business, racing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren and special fury friend Snowball. Barry was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving is his wife, Tammie Forrest Hartman, of the home; three sons, Barry Hartman Jr. of Charlotte, Justin Motley (Lori Skeen) of Tyro, and Joshua Motley (Amanda) of Lexington; two daughters, Christina Cunningham (Jason) of Mocksville and Jennifer Hartman (Josh Streath) of Wade; four brothers, Charles Hartman Jr. (Judy) of Virginia, Cyril Hartman (Donna) of Georgia, Keith Hartman of Virginia, and Kenneth Brown of Virginia; three sisters, Deborah Hille (Joe) of Virginia, Jane Vanden Berghe of Texas and Priscilla Buchalla (Keith) of Maryland; sister-in-law, Nancy Roberts of Maryland; 8 grandchildren, Nathan “Bug” Alexander Hartman Turner, Noah Lee Streath, Chance Hailey, Lane Hailey, Mason Lilly, Kailey Skeen, Sydney Skeen and Connor Cunningham several nieces and nephews; and his special four legged friends, Snowball, Tinker Bell and Gracie.
