Barry Wayne Varker

Barry Wayne Varker age 67 of Riverview Road, Lexington passed away Thursday April 26, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.   A funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday April 30, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Kelly Barefoot and burial to follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 10-11 am prior to the service and at other times at the home.   Barry was born July 7, 1950 in Davidson County to Raymond Varker andv Dorothy Gray Marion Varker. He was a member of Second United Church of Christ and honorably served his country in the Army.   Surviving are his loving wife, Elizabeth Mae Michael Varker of the home. A step son, Christopher Owens of High Point. His brother, Rodney Varker and his wife, Rhonda of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Davidson County, 25 West 6th Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292.
