E. Beacom Musgrave, age 82, of Bud Sink Road, Lexington passed away Thursday night (9-4-2008)at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday (9-7-2008)
at First Baptist Church of Welcome, with Rev. Mark Blair and Rev. Tommy Kiker officiating.
Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Beacom was born in Davidson County, September 2, 1926 to Carl Samuel Musgrave and Iler Beck Musgrave. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Welcome and a retired employee of Lexington Motor Company as Parts and Service Department Manager. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Ethel Wrenn and Evelyn Stephens, and two brothers; Earlie and Roby Musgrave.
Surviving are; wife Iris Griffin Musgrave of Lexington Health Care, 1 son; Larry Musgrave and wife Patti of Lexington, two daughters; Judy Yarbrough and husband Larry and Patricia Call and husband Craig all of Lexington, seven grandchildren; Sharon Y. Hartley, Brian Musgrave, Carol Ann Y. Kiker, Christina Y. Church, Matthew Musgrave, Katie Call Rose and Anna Call, eleven great-grandchildren and one sister; Ella Musgrave of Lexington.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2 until 3 pm Sunday prior to the service.
