Beatrice Shoaf Everhart, age 98 of Old Highway 64 West passed away Saturday morning May 9, 2015 at Alston Brook, after several years of declining health.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Reeds United Methodist Church with Rev. Duncan Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Reeds United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall from noon until 2 pm, prior to the service.
Beatrice was born in Davidson County, April 10, 1917 to William Grady and May Hartley Shoaf. She was a homemaker and a member of Reeds United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William Foy Shoaf and her sister, Peggy Shoaf Evans.
Surviving are her son, Guy Everhart and wife Emily of Lexington; grandchildren, Tammy Shives (Jeff), Greg Nard (Dee), Suzy Patterson (Jeff) and Shannon Everhart-Moorefield; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
