Beatrice Williams Owens, of Tyro School Rd., Lexington died Monday August 27, 2007 at 7:20 am in Lexington Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. The funeral will be 3:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Pine Primitive Baptist Church with the Elders David Anderson and John Draper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Owens was born in Davidson County to Henry Alexander Williams and Mary Jane Owen Williams. She was a homemaker and member of Pine Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Samuel Owens on June 25, 1999, 3 infant sons, 2 infant great grandsons, brothers, J. Ashburn Williams; Henry Lee Williams; Buck Williams and Irvin Williams and sisters, Edith Koonts; Polly Owens and Faye Wilson, also preceded her in death. She is survived by son, Daniel M. Owens and wife Rebecca of Lexington; two daughters, Glenda Hope of Butner, NC and Sue Black and her husband Jerry of Lexington; Grandchildren, Scott Black and wife Sharee; David Black; Martin Owens; Heather Sanders and husband Matt all of Lexington; Charlotte Oakley and husband Jimmy of Butner ; Craig Hope and wife Lori of Wilmington and Keith Black and wife Amanda of Raleigh. 10 Great Grandchildren and a brother W. Donald Williams and wife, Myra of Lexington and Sister In Laws, Elizabeth Williams of Rockwell and Evelyn Williams of Lexington. Mrs. Owens will be open for viewing Wednesday afternoon until 7:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and the family will also received friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Thursday at Pine Primitive Baptist Church, prior to the service.
