Beatrice Yarbrough

Beatrice Chapman Yarbrough, 90, of Grand Strand Health Care, formerly of Lexington, NC died Monday morning at the Health Care Center. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel Lexington Chapel, conducted by Rev. Steve Shinn and burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Yarbrough was born in Davidson County May 23, 1916 to Nicholas Elijah Chapman and Adaline Chapman. She was a retired employee of Frank IX Company and a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband Rossville Samuel Yarbrough, daughter; Catherine Yarbrough, brother; Vernon Chapman and sisters; Etta Mae Jordan, Lucy Chapman and Ethel Swift. Surviving are: Daughters Jean Hedrick Of Surfside Beach, SC and Cindy Blanton of Glendale Springs, CO, Sons: Sam Yarbrough Of Conway, SC and Wayne Yarbrough of Bluffton, SC, Granchildren: Cameron Hedrick, Cathy Rawlings, Allen, Bradley, Nicholas and Seth Yarbrough, and 8 Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington from 6:30 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night.
