Becky Archie

Mrs. Becky Vernice Todd Essick Archie, 84, of Westgate Ct, died Thursday, December 7 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sunday, January 7 at Center Church of Welcome.

Mrs. Archie was born September 26, 1939 in Davidson County to Henry Dawson Todd and Bevie Smith Todd.  She was a barber for many years with Lloyd Craver at Welcome Barber Shop.  Her husband, Larry Archie, her son, Tommy “Bo” Essick, Jr,  two brothers, and four sisters, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Bulla (Kelly) of Reidsville, and Eddie Stansel of Georgia; her daughters, Renee McGee (Terry) of Winston-Salem, Erickia Leonard (Barry) of Lexington; Tammy Essick of Shelby, and Frankie McRorie (Jeff) of Lexington; her brother, Steve Todd (Beverly) of Lexington; 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, and her companion of fourteen years, Terry Berrier.
