Becky Leonard Hunter

Rebecca  (Becky) Leonard Hunter 85 of Winston Salem went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Saturday September 18, 2021 at her home. A graveside service will be 4:00 pm Monday at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastors Chuck Iresome and Tyler Hutchens.    Social distancing and masks are requested by the family.

Mrs Hunter was born December 1, 1935 in Davidson County to Elmer Lee Leonard and Grace Byerly Leonard. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Her parents and her husband, Joe Carl Hunter Sr.  all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Leonard and a sister, Betty Guthrie.

Surviving are Sons: Dean Hunter (Linda) and Joe Carl Hunter Jr.  and Daughters: Sarah Hutchens (Eddie) and Tonya Rhodes (David). Grandchildren: Brad Hutchens (Amber), Tyler Hutchens (Bethany), Derek Rhodes, Christine Hedrick (Joe),  Hannah Rhodes, Brooke Fulk (Joseph),  and Joe Carl Hunter III, (Alexis). Great Grandchildren: Skylar Hutchens,Dylan Hutchens, Kadyn Hutchens, Gabe Hutchens, Lincoln Hutchens and Marshall Hutchens, Mason Hunter, Callahan Hunter, Jack Fulk and Emma Fulk.
