Belinda "Gail" Everhart

Belinda Gail Everhart, 59, of Greensboro Street Ext., passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

She was born on September 5, 1967, to the late James David Everhart, Sr. and Judy Darnell Wood Sherrill. Gail was known as a wonderful mother, a loving sister, and a cherished friend. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on her beloved Carolina Tar Heels.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Brandon Todd Everhart; daughter, Brandy Gail Eller; brother, Jimmy Everhart (Kathryn); sister, Becky Everhart; niece, Anna Everhart; granddaughter Haleigh Grace Coles; granddog Chip; and her host of friends from Old Dominion Freight Lines.

Gail also leaves behind her beloved sisterhood of girls, who were more like family than friends, including Kimberly, Kristen, Beverly and her sister Becky.

A service honoring her life will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, located at 301 N. Main Street, Lexington, North Carolina. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, and at other times at their home.
