Belinda Carol Bumgarner Nifong

Belinda Carol Bumgarner Nifong, 67, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 16 ^th at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Greer officiating.

Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Nifong was born on January 29, 1952 in Davidson County to James Bryce Bumgarner and Betty Rose Conrad Bumgarner.  She retired as office manager for Carolina Abrasive.  Belinda loved being at the beach looking for shark teeth, spending time with her friends and taking care of her family.  She was of the Methodist faith and was preceded in death by her parents.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Charles ‘Chuck’ Nifong, of the home; sons, Corey Lee Smith (Cassie) and Marty Dean Smith, both of Lexington; daughters, Lesley Hulin (Tim) and Jennifer Burrow, both of Thomasville; brother, Ricky Bumgarner, of Lexington and 4 grandchildren, Kinzlee Smith, Nick and Noah Hulin, and Haley Burrow.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Hospice and WFBMC of Lexington and Winston-Salem for their care and kindness shown to Mrs. Nifong.
