Benjamin Matthew Haynes

Benjamin Matthew “Matt” Haynes, 36, of Wafford Circle, died Friday, April 22, at Hinkle Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm Monday, April 25 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Matt was born October 12, 1985, in Davidson County to Jonathan David Haynes and Tamara Worley Haynes.  He was a butcher at Conrad-Hinkle Supermarket, but most importantly, he was “Dad” to his children.  He was a member of Floyd Baptist Church.  His grandfather, Jon Haynes; his grandmother, Judy Floyd Worley, and his uncle, Nathan Grey Haynes, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Paige Barber Haynes of the home; his son, Benjamin Matthew Haynes, II; his daughter, Hannah LaPaige Haynes; his brothers, Jonathan David Haynes II (Krystle) and Samuel Adam Haynes; his grandmother, Page Sink Haynes Onorato; his grandfather, James Harold Worley; his uncles, Charles Martin Haynes, John Oliver Haynes (Ashley), and Jeffrey Dolan Worley (Angie); and his nieces and nephews, Madison Haynes, Kiera Collins and Jaxon Hansen

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the donor’s choice.
