Berdie Short White

Berdie Belle Short White, 52, Old Linwood Rd., Lexington died Friday, November 23, 2007 at her home after three years of declining health. A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2007 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Short officiating. Mrs. White was born May 14, 1955 in Logan, WV to Luke Short, Sr. and Lindy Meeks Short. She was a member of Church of Christ in Salisbury and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband Joseph Ray White of the home; two sons: Bernard White of Lexington and Steven Lambert of Sutton, WV; a daughter, Alison Klimanskis of Texas; three step daughters: Shereen Jorden of Cleveland, OH, Vinnie Sue Accord of Parma, OH and Patricia Vanzant of Lebanon, TN; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; two brothers: Luke Short, Jr. and Nathan Short, both of Denton; three sisters, Barbara Tackett of Wellington, OH., Loraine Lester of Logan, WV and Judy Kramer of Mantua, OH.; and a host of friends and other relatives. The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O.
