Bertha Iona Tysinger Louya, 75, of Murphy Lane, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at her home.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with the Revs. Joe Marlow and Roger Lackey officiating. There will be no public visitation.
Mrs. Louya was born October 12, 1935, in Davidson County, to Elwood Tysinger and Mildred Parker Tysinger. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Tabernacle and formerly employed at Siceloff Manufacturing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Bradley, Travis, Luther, Johnny, Bobby, and Jimmy Tysinger; and sister, Alta Mae Frizzell.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, William Thomas Louya of the home; daughter, Pam Coble and husband, David, of Mooresville; two grandchildren, Heather and Hannah Runyon, both of Mooresville; one great-granddaughter, Stella Grace Runyon; and sisters, Cloise Hilliard and husband, Cletus, and Thelma Leigh Walser and husband, Bradford, all of Lexington.
