Bertis Lou Moorefield

Bertis “Bert” Lou Beamon Moorefield, 82, of Winston-Salem died Sunday December 23, 2018 at Trellis Supportive Care.

A Memorial Service with visitation will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Fellowship Hall at New Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Pastor Chris Byrne officiating services.

Mrs. Moorefield was born July 13, 1936 in Yadkin County to Eugene Beamon and Evola Logan Beamon. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Donald, Houston, Lonzo and Wes; and one sister, Sally.

Surviving is her husband, Jimmy Rogers Moorefield, of the home; two sons, Tim Moorefield (Kathleen) of Lewisville and Jim Moorefield (Cindy) of Winston Salem; 2 grandchildren, Leslie and Dana; and 2 great-grandchildren, Leyla and Leah.
