Bessie Miller Hedrick

II Corinthians 5:8 “Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Our loving mother and grandmother, Bessie Hedrick, went to her eternal home on Thursday, July 24, 2014, to our Heavenly Abba father, Jehovah God. Born July 7, 1924 to July 24, 2014. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Mrs. Hedrick was born July 7, 1924, in Harrisonburg, Va., to Charles Miller and Laurel Frances Ray Miller. She was retired from Mid State Tile where she had graded tile. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael and Keith Floyd; two brothers and four sisters. Surviving are a son, Paul C. Hedrick Jr. and wife Constance of Bakerville; daughters, Linda Trivette and husband Tom of Lexington and Lorraine Sink of Salisbury; grandchildren, Shannon Christina Dunn, Sally Amanda Garron, and Christopher Floyd; great-grandchildren, Alexis Farrington, Savannah Bates, and Hada Garron.
