Bessie Lee Brown Hill

Bessie Lee Brown Hill, 61, of North Main Street, died Monday, September 12, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House. A celebration of life service will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at the home of her daughter, Jennifer, 246 Brentwood Drive, Lexington. Mrs. Hill was born October 4, 1949, in Wyoming County, W.Va., to John R. Brown and Avis Toler Brown. She was a former seamstress at Erwin Lambeth Furniture Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Lee Wishon; brother, Johnny Mack Brown; and sister, Judy Brown. Surviving are son, Mitchell Wayne Caulder Jr. and wife, Rhoda, of Lexington; daughters, Tammy Kay Young and husband, Clarence, and Jennifer April Lynn Samuels and husband, Adrian, all of Lexington; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Annie Martinez and husband, Jesus, of Fayetteville, Mary Walls of West Virginia, and Linda Stephenson and husband, Johnny, of Raleigh.
