Betsy Carol Walser

Betsy Carol Walser, age 70, of Lexington passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A graveside service is planned for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Good Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Sink officiating.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be limits to follow; those attending the service are asked to practice social distancing and to wear a mask.

Betsy was born in Davidson County on May 16, 1950 to Howard Junior Walser and Ruth Miller Walser. She retired from Northwest Elementary.

Mrs. Walser was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Steve Lee Walser.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Chris Walser (Stephanie) of Clemmons; and Renee Singleton (Brent) of Lexington; grandchildren, Brittany Watson (Brad); and  Cali Joy Walser; sister, Shelby Hoffman (Lannie) of Lexington; and beloved dog, Peanut.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, or to the donor’s choice.

Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the Walser family.
