Bette Fulton Williams, age 63, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Lexington Health Care Center, after a period of declining health. Mrs. Williams was born February 8, 1958 in Bennettsville, S.C. She graduated from Parkland Sr. High School in 1976, and attended Lees-McRae College. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul L. Fulton, Sr. and Sara Covington Fulton. During her years of employment, Mrs. Williams worked at WFU Baptist Hospital, and was most recently employed as a preschool teacher at Ardmore United Methodist Church TTWS. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Donald E. Williams, of the home; two sons, Taylor B. Williams and Reed A. Williams, of Winston Salem; and daughter, Laura A. Williams, of Lexington; brothers Paul L. Fulton, Jr. (Vera) of Winston Salem, and Scott A. Fulton (Donna) of Clemmons; two nieces, Ria Fulton and Holly Fulton, of Winston Salem; two nephews, Alex Fulton (Laura) of Orlando, Florida and Robert Fulton (Stephanie) of Winston Salem. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Deborah Williams Mabie (Dwight) and their children, Matthew Mabie and Christian Mabie, all of Ohio. The family will receive family and friends at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, 858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston Salem, on Monday, August 16, 2021, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and requests that their privacy be otherwise honored. The family also wishes to thank her lifelong friends Kay, Pattie, and Tommy for their support and love during her illness.
